Great! The more the merrier. I'd be interested to hear how this Mellotron's character is different to the others... I do have a fair bit collected now :)

Changing the key range

Is there a quick way to change the key range of the multisamples in a program? For example, I have multisamples currently from G1 -> F4 with a sample for each key. I would like to change this to G2 -> F5 Is there a simpler way than to edit each key manually, and change their key value? There's alot ...

PC3X is nice, but no sampling, or the ability to load samples though.

Have you thought about a second Fusion as a backup? e.g. if you have a 8HD, get a 6HD for backup, or vice versa?

I think most points have already been made in the above discussion, but I'll add my cents for what it's worth. I don't think anybody here is wishing to suppress negativity or censor opinions - I think everybody accepts the fact that you're free to enjoy or dislike something. But when it's repeatedly...

Count me in that camp. And I consider it a good thing.

This is really cool. I really like this collection, and the way you focused on a type of instrument ... and the idea of really maximising the use of real-time controls to really turn the Fusion into a unique organ instrument of its own.

I don't have those samples, but it might be worth checking if it is the Fusion Converter that's only playing one velocity layer. I think it is quite common... can someone confirm? Does everyone re-build the velocity layers manually in the Fusion?

Sure it would be nice, but that's not reality at this point. A lot of things would've been nice if it was built into the Fusion... I'm of the camp where Hammonds are important. That's not to say that one should only use Hammonds and not experiment with different organ sounds. But it is an instrument...

Replacing Knobs on the Fusion?

Has anyone tried to remove and replace the knobs on the Fusion? I'm just wondering how practical/easy they might be to replace, or if anyone has tried this. I'm thinking of replacing them with some more vintage looking knobs from amps and things... I've tried pulling them off but they haven't come l...

So the Fusion Converter always loses the Velocity settings even when importing from a S5000/S6000 AKP format? I thought I've just been unlucky with the samples I've converted... I haven't looked into it too much... what happens to multiple layers, that is, the different samples that are triggered by...

Questions on creating and editing sample programs

I'm just starting to look into creating some sample programs on the computer to import into my Fusion. At the lack of a Fusion sample editing desktop app, my plan is to create them as S5000/6000 AKP programs and import them via Fusion Converter. From what I've seen, this seems to be the common appro...

I for one, am still waiting for this, as the current release is crashing in various situations. Please let us know if there has been a delay, or otherwise.

burndog - I don't suppose you might be using a Mac as your laptop to copy the files? I've never tried this in regards to my Fusion, but I have noticed that OSX will write some additional hidden files on any drive it copies files to (usually with a dot in front, like ".DS_Store") even on USB drives, ...

I like the HG piano actually. But like the above poster I had to turn off all the Reverb before really liking it. Don't be afraid to hit that EDIT button! I find most of the presets have too much effects, be it delay or reverb, than I like, and they all improve a lot to my tastes when I turn them of...

I would also like to express some words of thanks too. You guys have given us some great sounds and what I especially appreciated was the more atypical patches and sound sources. Even for me, who is primarily a piano, organ, mellotron type of player, rather than a soundscape/pads synth sort - usuall...
