Complete and up-to-date list of drums samples in ROM

Post by JMD »

Hello,

I'm looking for the complete and up-to-date list of samples in ROM, especially drums.

Indeed, I found the "Fusion Complete Factory Sound Set Documentation - Version 1.20" documentation (page 27), but the list does not seem up to date.

For example, it indicates that the 1st sample (000) from the "Drum-Ac Snare bank" is "Mounty 11" while on my Fusion (Sound Rom 1.24), it is "8x14 Mounty 1".
The second (001) is “Braid 6” in the documentation and “8x14 Mounty 6” on the Fusion. etc ...

Do you have this sample list somewhere?

Thank you in advance !

JMD-I'm not sure what your file is-it didn't open but I think I have what you need. I'ts an excell spreadsheet file of all the samples Jesse had sent me about a month ago. Your link to the pdf in your post didn't work, so I'm not sure if you are referring to this particular list, this might still be an old list and i don't know who originally compiled it or where it came from but jesse might know. I don't see a listing for the orders of each sample in it-have to assume this is the correct numerical order. It's an excel file, needed to zip it to attach it. Might be what you need.

Good programs by the way JMD-I've installed all yours on my Fusion. Nice work.

JMD,I believe that list you have is from around December 2005
"Drum-Ac Snare bank" is "Mounty 11" and is listed under MultiSamples

I attached the wrong list-my mistake. this xls is a different arrangement showing raw samples I guess.

Thank you both !

I think my mistake is to confuse raw samples and multisamples.

Jesse, the file I have is this one and I realize that it does not list the raw samples: I therefore deleted the invalid link from my first message.
So, Jokeyman123, your Excel file is exactly what I was looking for !

Surely it depends on the occasion for which the sample list is needed. Always remember that between OS 1.23 and OS 1.24 there was a rearrangement. As a result, ROM 5 was rearranged and some samples were deleted. These Excel lists also exist.

My idea was to add to FDKB, the possibility of selecting samples in Rom in addition to Wav / Afs.

Fusion programs (.afp) store the name of the samples (not the ranking) so the order is not too much of a problem. On the other hand, if some have been deleted, it can be a problem even if the risk remains limited because if the sample does not exist, the Fusion then asks which one to replace it with.

Great idea if you can do it. And again, thank Jesse for the raw samples chart which he sent me. wish I knew who created this one, I don't think it was Alesis as an excel file. OK JMD glad it is the one.

I have the Excel list of samples that were unusued, rearranged or removed for OS 1.24 and some of them then ended up on the internal hard drive.

You should always try to avoid any error messages, including the Missing Sample message. Although you have the option for a replacement sample, there may still be problems if the program preset in question is to be called up automatically after the Fusion is switched on.

The Excel sheet is from Alesis, I tried to upload, but in this forum the file extension is not supported. Jesse, if you see a way to convert this to a PDF, I'd be happy to email you the Excel sheet.

KPR-I was able to compress or "archive" the xls file I sent to JMD-as a "zip" file using 7zip-or any other program that does this-and you can see from my previous post, apparently zip files will upload here. I would think this can be done for other files too, that cannot be uploaded here.
